Hudson Hollands

Beautiful Show Quality Holland Lop Rabbits

GC HUDSON 'S FLASHDANCE (Broken Black)

3 Legs
1 BOB

Sire: Repine's YB9 (black)
Dam: Bunny Boo's Mizzyboo (broken black)

Flash had a fantastic start and showed very well as a junior.  He earned his first leg in Rhinebeck, NY where he won BOB out of 52 Hollands.  He was only 4 1/2 months old!  He took a long time to mature and be able to compete with the other Sr. bucks, but he has finally earned his GC certificate~ a very well deserved award.  Flash is one of my best broken patterned herd bucks, throwing nice compact size.

HUDSON'S NIGEL (Broken Tort)

Hudson's Nigel (here at 4 mos old):

GC Nigel as a senior:

6 ARBA Legs
Sire:  ELS/AF's Noah (black tort)
Dam: KB's Panga (broken tort)

Nigel is really growing up to be a fabulous Holland.  I love his head and he has a super laid back personality!

Hudson's Jack (Tortoise)

3 ARBA legs (GC Pending)
1 BOB, 1 BIS

Sire:  ELS'/AF's Noah (tort)
Dam: D & A's Sheri (blue)

You've heard the expression "mini-me"?  Well, this is a "mini-Noah"!!!  What a clone of his Dad!  Jack is the best Holland I have produced here at Hudson Hollands.  He has it all.  He is even shorter and more compact than Noah and has a fabulous head.  I love the chest and bone on this boy.  He earned his first ARBA leg at his first show at the PA State Convention.   He got his name when he was about 3 weeks old and kept jumping in and out of his nestbox constantly!  Every time we walked by him we would call him "tort-in-the-box", but that was silly, so he ended up with Jack (get it?).  Jack is going to be our new star!

Hudson's Quimby (Tortoise)

Sire:  WS' Saprhe  (blue tort)
Dam: Hudson's Maggie (tort)

When this buck was little I could tell there was something special about him.  His litter mates all went to pet homes, but I had to keep this guy.  *Quimby is back home after spending some time with our good friend Wendy at Hillbunny Rabbitry.  Thanks to Wendy and her family for taking such good care of him:)

HUDSON'S CHONCHO (Broken Orange)

Choncho is shedding out on his face, but I can tell he is going to have an awesome crown (pictured here at 3 1/2 months)
Thanks to Jenna B. for providing me with this offspring of Biscuit.

Sire:   THF Saynora's Biscuit (orange)
Dam:  Southern Star's Jovanna (broken chestnut)

Here's his sire, Biscuit:

I can see a resemblance .....

Choncho at 5 months, not barely a senior buck (look at that head!):

Choncho is now living with Wendy at Hillbunny Rabbitry in upstate, NY.  Wendy and her daughter Diana are currently working on  Tri-colored Holland Lops.  We hope Choncho will not only add the color that they are looking for, but also, a bit of that HUGE head :)

BINK'S MIGHTY MOUSE (Seal)

Sire:   LL's Mighty Mickey (tort-black)
Dam:  WS's Cyris (black)

I think you can see how this buck got his name.  He is one big hunk!  Walter was selling out of his rabbits and fortunately I was able to get this fabulous buck from him.  He did great at the PaSRBA in Lebanon this February and continued his good showing in Rhinebeck, NY in April.  He has produced a son, Lil' Bomb, who took 1st SJB at 3 months old!  He has been bred to several other does and has produced some fantastic offspring!

BINK"S DUKE (Tortoise-Black)

Sire:   Cammack's Buster (broken tort)
Dam:  WS's Cyris (black)

Duke is another great buck from Walter Bink.  I love the top line on this buck and he also has a very nice head with near perfect ears.  He will also be coming to PA with  me for his first Youth showing.  He recently sired 5 kits for me with Dan's "7". He is a year and a half old now and I feel he will top out beautifully in another year.

FLOP SHOP'S ELFIN (Blue)

Sire:  Bunny Boo's Gandalf (black)
Dam: D & A's Sheri (blue)

Thanks to Cheri at Flop Shop Rabbitry for ELFIN- the sweetest little buck ever!  Elfin was given to us from my Mom's friend Cheri and her son Andy.  Andy took great are of this guy for me until we got him.  I cannot wait to see what kind of nice kits he produces for us.  Thanks a bunch guys for agreeing to that breeding and giving me this great buck!!  He looks kinda' grumpy here and he loves to hang his ears in his water crock!

*Elfin is back home with Andy and Cheri at the Flop Shop.  Elfin has produced a beautiful litter for us and when we decided to place him, we thought of offering him back  to them, where he was born and raised.  Thanks again Cheri for the short time we had with Elfin- he is a super guy!
